Job Title: Site Coordinator - 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Grant
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a classified position to support the implementation of a grant funded, after school program that includes, but is not limited to, programs involving enrichment, academics and mentoring. The Site Coordinator for the CCLC is responsible for ensuring that the policies and procedures of the CCLC grant program are followed, which include, but are not limited to program development, recruiting and training staff, communicating with the administration, staff and parents regarding all aspects of the program, and addressing student issues on site. The Site Coordinator reports to the building principal, CCLC Project Director or designee.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates program activities and services at CCLC site.
- Assists district administration and Project Director to develop quality program offerings and enrichment activities aligned to the approved grant and adapt the program to meet the needs of students while meeting the requirements of the Oregon Department of Education (ODE). The program will be offered across grade levels and can include tutoring, homework checks, after school and summer instruction (math, literacy, ELD) and enrichment activities, i.e., technology, robotics, STEAM, arts, leadership and language instruction.
- Assists with recruitment and training of personnel to staff the CCLC program. This includes site advisors and teacher positions at each site, ensuring hiring procedures are followed.
- Assists with various building needs during the school day, if needed.
- Implements a comprehensive communication plan for parents, staff and students regarding the CCLC program offerings, registration, scheduling and program requirements.
- Implements a recruitment plan for students who could benefit from the CCLC program. Also, tracks and monitors students’ participation in the program.
- Assists in training and supporting IA, teachers, and others staff in support of program implementation.
- Coordinates off campus enrichment opportunities via field trips.
- Coordinates program volunteers and ensures compliance with district processes.
- Coordinates substitute advisors/teachers when needed.
- Assists with providing effective on-boarding procedures for new staff and volunteers.
- Assists with providing professional development for CCLC staff as needed.
- Assists with maintaining partnerships with community businesses, agencies, community organizations, local universities to develop programs, offerings and activities for students.
- Coordinates with the principal regarding use of the school building and campus.
- Serves as liaison between CCLC staff and Program Director.
- Follows all District policies, work procedures, and reasonable requests by proper authority.
- Cultivates and models a respectful working and learning environment, responding to families, students, staff, school personnel and community members.
- Meets regularly with the Project Director to ensure programming is meeting the needs of students and families.

- Demonstrates professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress in a neat, clean, and appropriate professional manner for the assignment and work setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Skills: Operate a computer, office machines, telephone and other technological equipment. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization skills.
Knowledge: Deliver a comprehensive program for students involving enrichment and academic activities.
Abilities: Work harmoniously with others. Work and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures or backgrounds in English, Spanish, or other languages related to the job. Work independently without supervision, and with minimum oral/written instructions.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Work experience involving delivering programs to students. Experience in education, youth development or related field of study.
Certificates & Licenses: Possession of valid Oregon drivers license.
Continuing Education/Training Clearances: Pre-employment criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
