POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Library Clerk supports the operation of the school library by maintaining an organized, welcoming, and student-centered learning environment that promotes literacy, inquiry, and equitable access to library resources. The Library Clerk manages the circulation, organization, maintenance, and inventory of library materials; assists students and staff in accessing library resources; supports the distribution and management of instructional materials and technology as assigned; and collaborates with the building administrator and district staff to maintain a high-quality library program.

 

The Library Clerk reports to the school principal or assigned supervisor, works independently on assigned responsibilities, and does not supervise any employees.
